Supporting some of the largest QSR brands, the Director of Operations will oversee several locations within the Chicago market. This position will be a 5-day work week with the need for schedule flexibility based off the business need.
Responsibilities
- Creates sales programs to leverage business opportunities.
- Establishes labor budgets, food cost targets, guest surveys, and brand standards. Ensures Restaurant Managers maintain monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals.
- Oversees store performance; forecast sales data and trends to best support business and staffing needs.
- Work with Restaurant Managers to determine hiring needs. Support Restaurant Managers with interviewing, disciplining, and training of crew members.
- Oversees ongoing store maintenance and escalates to external vendors.
- Leads brand standards to meet and surpass board of health and ops connect inspections.
- Ensures speed of service goals are being met.
- Cover for restaurant managers’ days off, as needed.
- Support daily operations of stores, as needed.
Qualifications
The ideal person will have management and/or leadership experience in a fast-paced, quick-service restaurant.
- Experience in high-level quick-service management, including new store opening and store development is required.
- Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in MS Office or Google Suite is required.
- Ability to manage and effectively communicate with stakeholders of varying levels
- Ability to interpret and present financial information is required.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence change.
- This is a leadership role; a demonstrated understanding of confidentiality is required.
